Fantastic apartment right in the middle of everything wonderful about York!

Location is simply incredible, you are literally on top to the heart of York. We loved people watching from living room and being able to. step outside right into the most amazing square filled. with bakeries, coffee shops and shopping. Noise was not a problem, slept beautifully. There are some pretty steep stairs, so be aware. Definitely would repeat.

This spacious apartment is perfectly located just steps from shops, restaurants, and the Shambles, overlooking the best streets and the Minster tower from the huge windows. Local friend said we couldn’t have done better than this location! It was very clean when we arrived and we appreciated the updated kitchen and bathrooms. The decor is classic and the furnishings are comfortable, making this a perfect place to stay during our visit to York. The host was fantastic, with quick and clear communication, lists of recommended restaurants, and plenty of suggestions for activities and sights to explore. We’d love to come back!

If you’re looking for a place in the heart of York, this is the place! Everything is walking distance, including from the York train station. Check in was super easy, clear instructions. I saw a review that said the lockbox to get the keys (around the corner from the entrance to the unit) was smelly? Maybe it was the time of year for us, but it was not bad and it’s literally a step inside the alley and if you follow the instructions, you are in there for seconds. I highly recommend staying here. When we return to York we are hoping to stay here again. Fingers crossed it’s available.

Great stay! Our family of 5 were very comfortable there (2 toddlers and a 1 year old). Incredible location.

We stayed in Kings apt 3. Photos accurate. Large well laid out apartment with thought and time given to decor now showing some wear and tear. Upstairs bedrooms dusty. Bedside tables, both wooden bed frames and under the bed was more than neglected by the vacuum. En-suite grand. But no water from the hot water tap in the separate bathroom. Chloe did contact the owner. Plumber arrived 3rd day. Plumber arrived 0750 which was not the agreement. Apparently water was deliberately turned off. Downstairs always smelt if damp but after a while you don’t notice it. No heating on arrival. it took overnight to heat up. Thermostat not located in the hall cupboard but in the kitchen. We had the same issue with Wi-Fi codes, network. House folder not up to date which was very frustrating. There been a change in agent. Kitchen summery,. Toaster doesn’t pop up. 2/4 mugs badly chipped and the grill pan not clean. Clearly not 5 star but more 3. However, has potential to be so much better.
