Loved our stay so much, we can’t recommend enough. Thank you, Elizabeth! It was too short!

Liz provided a great place to stay - not really highlands but on the edge of the Cromarty Firth and excellently located to explore the Black Isle, muir of ord, Inverness, Culloden, Nairn - basically you’d need a long time to do it all. We would have given 5 stars but for the bed which was too hard, but now knowing Liz she’ll have got that sorted by the time of her next visitor. Lots of add ons such as honey, eggs, home grown veg and salad, home made bread and endless supplies of wood for the burner which during our snowy stay was very welcome.

We stayed here for 3 nights and loved the place. Liz is very responsive and is always available when needed. The fresh eggs, Honey and bread she provided were really good. We also enjoyed the indoor fireplace which not only kept the house warm but was fun as well. We had an issue with our car in arrival, Liz helped with finding a local mechanic who in turn fixed the car despite it was busy period. Thanks Liz for everything.

We had a lovely stay at Elizabeth’s place. The cottage was very clean and comfortable. Elizabeth was thoughtful and friendly and we loved the beautiful touches, freshly made bread, honey and milk we were welcomed with. Highly recommend.

We absolutely loved staying at Liz’s. She couldn’t have been more hospitable — we arrived to freshly baked bread, delicious honey, fresh eggs, and a wonderfully cosy home for the week. The space itself was incredibly comfortable, with big, comfy sofas and everything we could possibly need. Having a real Christmas tree was such a special touch and made the stay feel even more magical. We all loved the animals and starting the day with breakfast while watching the chickens, geese, and cats wandering around was a real highlight. Liz was also extremely helpful, sharing great local recommendations, from dolphin watching to exploring Harry Potter filming locations. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, couldn’t recommend it highly enough, and would absolutely love to return.

Had a wonderful stay at Elizabeth's place! The cottage was cosy, inviting and well equipped for our stay, with clear instructions on how to get in as we were arriving later in the day. We arrived and the fire was made ready for us and fresh eggs and bread were provided too which was amazing and made us feel right at home! Elizabeth kindly provided us lots of recommendations on what to do in the area, of which there were many choices as the whole region is stunning. Thanks for a great trip!
