We stayed to visit family locally. Butterknowle is a lovely quiet village with picturesque views. The house was spacious and clean, ample space to park in the driveway and the garden was perfect and safe for our dog. Place was cosy and well equipped, would definitely stay again .

We had a lovely restful stay. Comfy beds, clean cottage, nice and warm and a beautiful area. A walk from high force to low force is recommended. A few more bits in the kitchen would be good, but otherwise perfect.
