The main advantage of this property is its excellent connection to Edinburgh, just a 10-minute walk to the railway station and about 20 minutes by train to the city centre. The area is quiet and pleasant, even though there are building sites nearby. A large shopping centre is only a 10-minute drive away, and there’s an all-you-can-eat buffet restaurant with a great food selection about a 15-minute walk from the house. The house itself is quite simple and equipped with the basics. It was sufficient for the three of us, but it might feel a bit limited for a group of five. Scott is a very responsive host, so I’m confident he would address any issues if raised. The comfortable sofa and large TV were especially enjoyable on a rainy day, and the beds were a good size and comfortable. Cleanliness could be improved slightly, as it felt more like a quick tidy than a thorough clean. It wasn’t bad, but there is definitely room for improvement. Overall, we had a pleasant stay—thank you.

Lovely house & place to stay in. Everything was as described & was a short drive to all main areas. Would definitely book again if I was to visit the area.

Given wrong password resulting us getting wet during rain at about 6 degree C over 20 minutes. Unable to contact host initially, finally contacted then verified the password mentioned in the instruction was WRONG. The locker location is difficult to find, NOT in the instruction, and even with the right password set, the location of lock made it hard to open after 7-8 attempts during heavy rain.
