Great stay and host! Location was just like photos if not better. We were in awe of the home and Paul was great!

This home was AMAZING. We traveled from the U.S and wanted a home full of rich Scottish culture. This home was everything + some. Beds comfortable, Bathrooms were super nice, and Kitchen was great. Paul is a very nice and very great Host. He welcomed us and showed us all of the great things about the home. I totally recommend you staying here!! Thanks Paul.

Paul is such an incredible host, and his place “The Doune” was simply incredible! The work that Paul has done is nothing short of incredible. He was very informative and responsive, but also so thoughtful in his interactions. When it was time to leave, our car wouldn’t start, and he helped us to jump our vehicle and allowed us to stay until AA arrived to replace our battery. Additionally, we held a vow renewal, as the location and atmosphere was perfect! We would love to return and stay at this property again!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this amazing historic home, and I can't recommend it enough! It truly feels like a museum, rich with history and character. The hot tub was a perfect touch for relaxing after a day of exploring. The beds were incredibly comfortable and clean, providing a much-needed restful sleep. If you're a fan of history, particularly the Culloden Battlefield, this location is perfect—it's just a stone's throw away from many great historic sites. As an Outlander fan, I found this spot to be a dream come true! Host Paul was exceptionally friendly and made us feel right at home. Paul was a gracious host. The stay was gorgeous and very well situated to explore the surrounding area. We had a lot of snow which made it both magical and at times challenging.
