Lovely place, spotlessly clean, spacious rooms, very comfortable. Great location, 10 min walk to regular train to Liverpool city and short walk to Sir Anthony Gormley statues on the strand. Highly recommend Gill & Matt’s lovely apt.

We had a very enjoyable stay in this cozy and peaceful flat. Beds were very comfy and showers were hot. We did find the mezzanine bedroom stuffy but Gill and Matt were very responsive and helpful and supplied a fan. There are no curtains or blinds so Matt offered sleep masks but we didn't need them as the weather wasn't the best. The building is really amazing with some fantastic features.

I was delighted that this property was available for our dates and suited the number of people travelling with me. I had admired it previously and thought how lovely it would be to stay somewhere so unique — and it certainly did not disappoint. The flats have been thoughtfully and sympathetically designed around the original church, which makes for a truly special setting. Everything met our needs perfectly, and the hosts, including Magda, were friendly, responsive, and extremely helpful throughout our stay. A wonderful experience from start to finish — thoroughly deserving of the highest recommendation.
