Very nice house great communication

The house was tidy and decor inviting. Very stylish. The beds were extremely comfortable. It more spacious than shown in the photos and reasonably equipped with basics. Upon arrival, I noticed the carpets to be dirty, particularly the rug in the second bedroom. Luckily there was a hoover provided so I did a quick clean and also washed the bath mats as these had toothpaste stains on them- just something to note for your cleaners! The kitchen utensils and plates etc were very basic but as we weren’t cooking much during our stay, we managed. There wasn’t a tea towel to dry dishes but the house is conveniently located close to many supermarkets for bits we needed. Some things needed washing before use. I was looking forward to using the coffee pod machine which is a lovely touch, but the selection of pods were a mix match, latte with no milk pods etc so we didn’t end up using it. Street was noisy at night, shouting and fighting early hours most nights. I wouldn’t say it’s a ‘safe’ area.

The house was spotlessly clean with a very comfy, large bed in the main bedroom - it was a great base for the weekend for us to explore the North East!

They are a lovely couple and always happy to help. The place felt really homely and cosy.

Very clean & super cozy house. Kitchen floor was clean and the carpet were also lint free. Jerely & Mikki were very quick at responding to any messages & always sent reminders during the stay which was very helpful. The house is located within walking distance 5-10mins to major supermarket chains & local take aways were just 2 blocks down. We chose this house as it was near Durham city and only abour 11mins drive away. There is a lot of ample space to pack/unpack out luggages on the ground floor. The stairs to the 1st floor is sufficiently wide enough and not narrow & cramped as we had experienced at other rentals. Pans & utensils are provided, a choice of some teas including a Tassimo capsule cofee machine was also provided in the rental. Overall it was an excellent stay & we were all very pleased with the aesthetics & quality of the stay. Location & proximity to supermarkets & Spennymore town center was great. Lovely & warm hosts. Highly recommended.
